Dimmocks pit fishery

Dimmocks pit fishery is an 1830s traditional float fishery,  a small intimate lake with weed silt and snags surrounded by a beautiful woods 

Loads of silvers , tench and a few big carp and catfish 

Many if the lakes secrets are still to be undiscovered...

The lake is gated and  secure  with a small loo and  anglers are given a gate code to gain access thar we change regularly..

This is a weedy silty fishery and great for float fishing,  but carp fishing can be tricky and not for those un experienced 

🟢 lake rules 🟢

☆ Only our nets and mats are to be used please do not bring your own ( if anyone's nets / mats are seen to be set up you will be asked to leave )

☆ Right equipment for target species  ie appropriate lines and rods etc

☆ Do NOT leave fag butt's all over the swims 

☆ No drop shot or lure equipment  can be used on the fishery  so please do not bring it ( if seen you will be asked to leave)

☆ Pike angling between October and March only.

☆ Micro barbed and barbless  allowed 

☆ No fixed leads or leadcore.

☆ no wading or entering the lake at any point 

☆ no sacking fish 

☆ Do not leave your rods un attended at any point 

☆ Take your own rubbish home..

The double hut swim is £30 per angler per night with hut  or £20 per angler per night without 

This is the only swim that's  a pre book ..

Payment can be made at the shop in advance or via bank transfer  cash in the bank if arrange in advance

This is a mixed fishery designed for float fishing  however  we do accepted carp and specimen hunters

It's weedy silty  and full of character and unknown fish
